On October 23, LV’s official customer service in mainland China responded, stating that the men’s clothing in question belongs to the brand’s autumn/winter limited edition items, which were officially launched in April of this year and are currently out of stock nationwide, in a sold-out state. They have not yet received notification that production of this item has ceased, and it is currently uncertain whether it will be restocked in the future.
Regarding the product pricing and materials, the staff explained that the garment is made of 79% cotton and 21% nylon. As a seasonal limited edition item, its design was personally completed by the brand’s designers, which is why the pricing is relatively high.
In response to netizens’ inquiries about the “resemblance to school uniforms,” the staff stated, “There may be some similarities,” noting that the series focuses on autumn/winter jackets, with design considerations for practicality and seasonal appropriateness.
